This traditional family show will again take place in the beautiful parkland at Sutton Park just 8 miles north of York, where car parking is available free of charge.
The packed programme commences at 9-00am with the judging of the many equine classes in the 8 rings available, to be followed by many other displays and competitions in the surrounding areas and marquees. A variety of rural entertainment in the Main Ring commences at 12-45pm which includes Dressage, Classic Cars,
Foxhounds, Carriage Driving and a Flying Display of Falcons. The judging of prime Beef Cattle and Sheep will take place in other areas as does the Church Service, the Punch & Judy show and a fairground for children.
Surrounding all this activity are some 76 trade stands, a craft marquee and a Home Produce & Crafts Section organised by Huby WI and Sutton Country Women’s Association.
Last year we recorded an attendance of over 5,000 because of which we have this year received a record number of entries and trade stands. If you love the countryside BE THERE. Next show Sunday 29th July 2012!
